Job Description:

The Opportunity:
The successful candidate will be responsible to perform all duties related to the cleaning and maintenance of the site/property including outdoor areas. Assist in providing excellent customer service standards and working in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
• General clean-up including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, and vacuuming, and more.
• Water Plants throughout the building.
• Monitor and maintain building and exterior grounds lighting systems.
• Prepare Facility for special events, holidays, and more by ensuring that all required equipment and material are on site and in working order.
• Conduct weekly deficiency inspections of Facility and submit weekly task list to the Manager.
• Identify hazards and ensure patron safety in accordance H &S Legislation within all
• Maintain all areas to the highest standards.
• Assist in creating an environment that is customer focused and performance driven so that customer expectations are met and/or exceeded.
• Use and safe handling of motorized mechanical equipment in day-to-day duties.
• Knowledge and safe handling of chemicals used throughout facility.
• Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.

Experience & Qualifications:
• Days, Evenings & Weekends.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Janitorial experience.
• WHMIS Training preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding area.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Bilingualism is an asset.
