PickU Rides is Prince Edward Island’s brand-new, locally built rideshare and delivery platform! We are officially launching next month in Charlottetown and soon in Summerside, and we are looking for dependable, friendly, and safety-focused local drivers to join our founding team.
Whether you want to drive full-time or make extra cash on your own schedule, PickU Rides offers a fair, community-first alternative to major rideshare apps. Plus, with our Courier Delivery feature, you can maximize your earnings by delivering packages as well as passengers.

Age & Licensing Requirements
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid PEI (or Canadian) driver’s license, held for at least 1–2 years
• Clean driving record / driving abstract
Required Documents
• Driver’s license (front and back)
• Vehicle registration
• Valid auto insurance
• Driving abstract (driver’s record)
• Police clearance / criminal background check
• Vehicle inspection certificate
• Profile selfie
• Photo of the vehicle
Vehicle Requirements
• Reliable 4-door vehicle in good condition
• Vehicle meets provincial safety inspection standards
• Valid registration and insurance in the driver’s name (or authorized to drive)
• Clean and well-maintained interior/exterior
Background & Eligibility
• Pass a criminal background check
• No major driving violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
Skills & Attributes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Punctual, reliable, and professional attitude toward riders and deliveries
• Strong knowledge of local roads and routes across Charlottetown, Summerside, and surrounding PEI areas
