Pay:ย $17 – $18 / hour (dependent on candidate experience)

Candidate Requirements:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must be available to work 8-hour shifts (including Saturday availability)
- Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds
- Must be physically able to stand for prolonged periods of time. In this position, the individual must stand, stoop, bend and grasp to complete required tasks.
- Must be physically able to climb a ladder
- English language proficiency (speak, read, write)
- Per Health and Safety guidelines, must have access to CSA steel toe work shoes/boots
- Must be willing to perform other duties as directed by management / supervisor(s)
Donations and Inventory Control Job Description
In this role, you will work collaboratively with the ReStore team, sharing the responsibility of the deployment, efficiency, and continuous improvement of the ReStore donor and customer experience.
The Donations and Inventory Coordinator is responsible and accountable specifically for:
- Accepting donations that are in good, sellable condition & politely refusing any broken/unsellable donations
- Helping to unload donations from donor vehicles and the ReStore delivery truck
- Cleaning and processing inventory received, as well as pricing inventory accordingly
- ย When requested, collecting all necessary information from donors requiring tax receipts for their donations
- Testing all products to ensure they are in working order
- Assisting all other ReStore staff and volunteers when required
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the backroom and receiving area
- Being a team player with a friendly attitude

The ReStore is a home decor, building supply, and home renovation store that accepts and resells new and gently used items. Proceeds from ReStore PEI fund what Habitat for Humanity PEI does: building homes, communities, and hope across Prince Edward Island. Supporting ReStore PEI through donating, volunteering, or shopping helps more Islanders achieve the dream of affordable homeownership.
