Job Description:

Job Summary:

Linkletter Farms is seeking a Seasonal Potato Grader. The Potato Grader will be responsible for inspecting and grading products to meet established quality standards. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently are essential for this position. On-the-job training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Inspect and grade products according to established quality standards.
  • Operate hand tools and equipment to perform grading tasks.
  • Identify and remove any defective or non-conforming product.
  • Perform on-farm tasks as directed, adhering to all regulations and company policies.
  • Prioritize health and safety, following established procedures and food safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and teamwork while working independently.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using hand tools and equipment
  • Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy lifting and repetitive tasks
  • Attention to detail lead and ability to maintain accuracy in grading
  • Strong communication skills to report any issues or concerns
  • Previous experience in grading or a related field is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Must understand that this is a seasonal, temporary position.

Job Location: Linkletter, Prince Edward Island

Benefits and Compensation Information:

  • Hours of work are dependent on production.
  • Must be available to work days, evenings and Saturdays.
  • Seasonal position for Harvest 2025
  • $17 per hour
