Siding Installer
Employer: Vanguard Construction Inc.
Vanguard Construction Inc. is seeking a motivated and dependable Siding Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will work on residential and commercial construction projects in Prince Edward Island.
Job Duties:
- Install, repair and replace exterior siding, including vinyl, wood, fibre cement, metal and composite siding.
- Measure, cut and fit siding materials according to project specifications.
- Install soffit, fascia, trim and flashing.
- Prepare exterior surfaces for siding installation.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret work orders, drawings and measurements.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean work site.
- Work effectively with supervisors and other construction team members to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications:
- Experience in siding installation or exterior construction is an asset.
- Ability to use construction hand and power tools.
- Ability to work at heights using ladders and scaffolding.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying construction materials.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
