What We’re Looking For
Vanco Farms is looking for an experienced Farm Equipment Operator to join our growing team. If you enjoy operating modern agricultural equipment and working outdoors in a fast-paced environment, we’d like to hear from you.
About the Role
What You’ll Do
- Safely operate tractors and a variety of agricultural equipment.
- Assist with planting, harvesting, cultivating, and other seasonal farming operations.
- Transport potatoes and farm materials safely and efficiently.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and perform basic preventative maintenance.
- Identify and report mechanical issues before they become major repairs.
- Follow all workplace safety and food safety procedures.
- Work with the farm team to achieve daily and seasonal production goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience operating tractors and agricultural equipment.
- Previous potato farm experience is considered an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform minor maintenance.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work extended hours during busy planting and harvest seasons.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
