Becks Home Furniture and Appliances is currently seeking a self-motivated, full-time Delivery / Warehouse person to join our team. As an integral member of our team, you are responsible for the careful loading and unloading of delivery trucks, driving the delivery truck, furniture assembly, providing professional, efficient service to our customers and working with other departments to ensure a positive overall customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Moving and lifting of product
- Delivering product into customer’s homes
- Build and assemble furniture
- Unload trailers and organize stock
- Deal with garbage (packaging / cardboard)
- Assist with product merchandising
What are we looking for?
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items on a regular basis (50 to 100 pounds regularly)
- Personable and courteous with excellent communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Mindfulness of safe material handling procedures and techniques
Monday through Saturday
Must have a valid driver’s License ( for more than 5 years) with a clean Drivers Abstract
WHMIS and first aid are an asset.
Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Warehouse worker: 1 year (preferred)
