As a Server, you’ll be more than just someone taking orders—you’ll be a vital part of the magic that happens here. From recommending our delicious menu items to delivering impeccable service, you’ll help make every visit feel special.

Whether you’re serving a local regular or a first-time visitor, your role will be instrumental in spreading the warmth and charm that PEI Preserve Company is known for. Your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently will ensure that every dining experience is seamless and filled with joy. Your contribution will directly reflect the heart and soul of our company, making our guests’ experience unforgettable.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Take food and drink orders, providing suggestions and recommendations.
• Monitor guests’ needs throughout their meal, offering refills, additional items, or assistance as necessary.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
• Process guest payments, including handling cash, credit cards, and gift certificates.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after shifts.
• Clear tables efficiently and set up for new guests, ensuring a clean and inviting dining space.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and maintaining a cooperative attitude.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by the Restaurant Manager.
• Promote the PEI Preserve Company’s mission of creating a “totally one-of-a-kind experience” for everyone.

Ideal Candidate

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
• Experience in food service is preferred
• A genuine love for people and creating positive experiences.
• Ability to memorize and recall menu items
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry up to 25 lbs.
• Able to work into September/October.
