Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Peter MacNeil Automotive. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while coordinating appointments, communicating repair information, and ensuring a positive customer experience from check-in to vehicle pick up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in person, over the phone, and by email in a professional and courteous manner
  • Schedule service appointments and manage the daily calendar
  • Gather customer and vehicle information and accurately enter into shop software
  • Explain repair recommendations, estimates, and timelines clearly and professionally
  • Process invoices and payments from customers and to suppliers
  • Maintain accurate customer records to keep shop management system up to date and accurate
  • Promote maintenance services and educate customers on recommended repairs
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming

Qualifications:

  • University Degree/College Certificate or equivalent is preferred
  • Previous customer service experience is required; automotive experience is an asset, but not necessary
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; the ability to multitask is essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with point of sale systems; shop management software experience is an asset, but not necessary
  • Valid driver’s license
