Job Description:

Role: Resident Care Worker

Duties:

• Assist with mobility in all surgeries (local anesthetic, IV sedations and neurolept anesthetic) if needed
• Monitoring patient’s pre-op, intra-op and post -op, assisting medical team
• Perform post – op check with patients (over phone and/or in person), with medical team
• Charting/documentation
• Recording patient’s vital signs during recovery
• Intake/review consultation information

Qualifications:

• Post- secondary diploma in Resident Care Worker
• Experience in a medical/surgical  setting is preferred
• Experience in medical documentation and maintaining records
• Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience
• Efficient English language skills, verbal, written, reading is a must
