Early Childhood Educator

Job Description:

Little Ducklings Pond is looking for a full-time Early Childhood Educator.

The centre is open from 7:00 – 5:30 and the educator will be working an eight hour shift each day.

Having an Early Childhood Educator Diploma from PEI or another province in Canada will be considered an asset.

The educator will be responsible for:

• The daily care of the children
• Daily planning and documentation
• The daily upkeep and cleaning of the room,
• Daily communication with parents and other educational support staff.

Applicants must be able to obtain a vulnerable sector criminal record check and after being successfully hired, must obtain their first aid/cpr certificate, WHMIS and food safety certificate.

Wages will range between $17.00 – $31.12 per hour depending on your PEI Early Childhood Educator certification level.

We support PNP applications, but not LMIA or AIP.
