Job Description:

Located in the heart of downtown Charlottetown, Rodd Charlottetown Hotel is a newly-renovated historic hotel known for its charm, elegance, and genuine Island hospitality. As a central gathering place for both locals and visitors, we take pride in delivering memorable dining and event experiences through our restaurant, bar, and banquet services.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bartender to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in both our dining room and banquet settings, delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced and guest-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional service in both the dining room and banquet functions
• Create welcoming, memorable experiences by anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations
• Take food and beverage orders, prepare and serve drinks, and assist with overall service flow
• Work collaboratively with your team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Respond to guest feedback professionally and ensure a positive resolution
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas

What We’re Looking For:

• A confident communicator who enjoys engaging with guests
• A strong team player with a supportive approach
• Energetic, reliable, and passionate about hospitality
• Previous serving and bartending experience
• Solid understanding of cocktails, mocktails, wine, and beer, with the ability to guide guests through selections and offer tailored recommendations
• Must hold a valid Responsible Beverage Service Certification
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
