Summary of Position:

Scooper – Cavendish Boardwalk

The Ice Cream Scooper is responsible for providing COWS World Class, or COW WOW, service to all customers and for completing the daily tasks necessary to maintain efficient operation of the ice cream department. The Ice Cream Scooper is a team player, and is ideally high-spirited, energized by giving customers a wonderful COWS experience, and up to the challenges of an upbeat, fast-paced environment.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Demonstrate an excellent standard for customer service by greeting patrons and answering questions about COWS ice cream and related products.
• Take customers’ orders and be able to prepare all menu items, including cone batter, waffle cones and dishes, according to procedure.
• Demonstrate a willingness to contribute and to perform tasks with accuracy.
• Complete daily tasks, including cleaning duties and replenishing paper supplies and syrup toppings.
• Maintain a food-safe environment by following procedures and health and safety rules.
• Accurately process transactions through the POS system; handle cash and make change.
• Be aware of and follow all COWS policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Be informed by staying on top of store communications and updates.
• Other duties as assigned by a Supervisor / Manager.

• Has high energy, a warm pleasant attitude, is outgoing, and is a team player
• Displays good communication skills, formally & informally
• Has good organizational skills
• Is flexible, motivated, and cooperative
• Has a sense of humor
• Has a competitive spirit

Physical Requirements:

• Repetitive tasks, specifically in the wrists
• Bending, lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Standing for the duration of the shift

Other Requirements:

• Reliable transportation
• Availability from May/June to September
