Job Description:

Cornwall Dental Clinic is seeking a meticulous, motivated, and friendly Sterilization Technician to join our dynamic, patient-focused, and well established dental practice. Our team is committed to providing exceptional dental care.

This role helps maintain high standards of infection prevention, organization, and quality within the clinic.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols and regulations.
  • Monitor sterilization cycles and maintain accurate records and logs.
  • Inspect instruments for cleanliness, function, and damage before returning them to clinical use.
  • Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and report shortages or equipment concerns.
  • Ensure the sterilization area is organized, safe, and compliant with infection prevention and control standards.
  • Assist the dental team by providing timely access to sterile instruments and equipment needed for patient care.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
  • Ability to follow protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is an asset but not required.
