Position Title: Seasonal Housekeeper for Private Household

Location: St. Peters Bay Area
Employment Term: June 15th – September 1st
Working Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10 AM – 4:30PM (Paid lunch and comfort breaks included) Some flexibility available with work schedule
Compensation: $30/hour, additional hourly travel pay available at $30/hour for candidates traveling from Charlottetown or distances, along with mileage assistance; weekly pay

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in the beautiful St. Peters Bay area for the summer season. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment at a premium local estate, ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and care throughout the summer months.

This position is ideal for an individual with excellent cleaning skills and a keen eye for detail, capable of maintaining a large home while working efficiently and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform household laundry and maintain cleanliness through dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Load and unload the dishwasher and wash dishes, ensuring kitchen surfaces and countertops are sanitized.
• Make beds and follow homeowners’ specific requests for cleaning and organization.
• Plan daily tasks to ensure that all duties are completed efficiently

Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation is essential.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Must have a professional appearance and demeanour, as well as the ability to work independently in a household setting while respecting the family’s privacy.

Work Environment:
The successful candidate will be comfortable working alone in a home environment alongside family members and should prioritize discretion and professionalism at all times.

Additional Information:
All cleaning supplies and equipment will be provided

This is a part time seasonal position but can lead to part time year round work.
