Student Warehouse Helper (Summer Position)

Seasonal Full-Time Position – Charlottetown, PE

Position Overview:

We are seeking a student to join our warehouse team as a Student Warehouse Helper for the summer. This role supports daily warehouse and shipping operations by assisting Shippers with product handling, order preparation, warehouse organization, and general operational support.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that involves physical work in a warehouse environment. The successful candidate must be dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working as part of a team to help keep daily operations running smoothly.

Location: ADL West Royalty – Industrial Park, 50 4 St, Charlottetown, PE

Wage Rate: $18.00 / hour

Work Environment and Schedule:

• Warehouse environment involving physical activity, lifting, repetitive movement, and standing for extended periods
• Work may involve refrigerated or cooler storage areas
• Shifts are typically 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with end times varying based on operational requirements
• Schedule includes Saturdays and occasional Wednesday shifts based on business needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and organizing products and pallets
• Help pick and prepare orders for shipping and delivery
• Support warehouse organization, product rotation, and cleanup activities
• Assist with handling returns and moving products to proper storage locations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas, docks, and equipment
• Follow all food safety, workplace safety, and sanitation procedures
• Work cooperatively with warehouse team members to support daily operations
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies and returning to full-time studies in Fall 2026
• Physically capable of lifting, moving, and handling products throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to take direction
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Safety-conscious with a willingness to follow procedures carefully
• Previous warehouse or general labour experience is considered an asset but not required
