CNC Operator

Job Description:

DALMAC – Print, Signs, Cresting a growing visual communications product manufacturer is looking to add a CNC Operator to its team.

Duties:

• Machine Setup: Prepare CNC machines for operation by loading tools, fixtures, and raw materials, and importing programs.
• Operation & Monitoring: Operate machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, or turning, while monitoring for malfunctions or errors.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers) to ensure they meet, blueprints, shop drawings, customer proofs.
• Adjustments: Make necessary offsets, tool changes, and speed/feed adjustments to ensure accuracy.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, workspace.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical manuals.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of machinery, tools, and mechanical processes.
• Math Skills: Solid understanding of mathematics and geometry.
• Attention to Detail: High level of precision in inspecting parts.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials (up to 50 lbs).

Compensation and Benefits: $19.00 – $25.00 hourly wage pending experience, Health and Dental Benefits, Paid Sick/Mental Health/Personal Days, Paid Vacation, Annual Fitness/Wellness Benefit, On-site Parking
