Job Description:

Housekeeping Attendant – 2026 Season

Are you someone who takes pride in a perfectly made bed, a sparkling space, and the quiet satisfaction of a job done right?

The Inn at Bay Fortune is looking for Housekeeping Attendants who bring care, consistency, and a sharp eye for detail to everything they do. We need people who can keep things moving, work efficiently under pressure, and help create a seamless, five-star experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

Nestled along the Fortune River in rural Prince Edward Island, The Inn at Bay Fortune is home to an unparalleled, five-star, farm-to-table culinary experience known as the FireWorks Feast, hosted nightly from May to October. Across our two historic properties, 21 thoughtfully designed guest rooms await visitors from around the world. Behind the scenes, our Housekeeping team ensures every corner of the Inn reflects the same care and excellence as the experience itself—from crisp linens to polished surfaces and every detail in between.

Led by proprietors Chef Michael and Chastity Smith, The Inn is rooted in a shared vision of hospitality, design, and culinary excellence. Every space has been intentionally crafted to create a sense of comfort, beauty, and place—and our Housekeeping team plays a key role in bringing that vision to life for each and every guest.

What you’ll be part of

  • A fast-paced, detail-driven environment where your work directly shapes the guest experience
  • A close-knit team that takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards
  • A unique property with two multi-storey buildings, indoor and outdoor staircases, and thoughtfully designed guest spaces
  • A workplace that values consistency, teamwork, and a strong sense of ownership

What we offer

  • Full-time seasonal work (May–November 2026) with consistent daytime hours
  • 6–8 hour shifts, 5 days per week, with paid breaks
  • Starting wage of $20.00 per hour + 4% vacation pay
  • Cost-shared employee health benefits after your first season
  • Complimentary staff meals during working hours
  • Two passes annually to the FireWorks Feast for you and a guest
  • On-the-job training and WHMIS certification provided

What you’ll bring to the team

  • A strong work ethic and an eye for detail—nothing gets past you
  • The ability to stay focused and organized while working under tight timelines
  • A positive, professional attitude when working independently or with teammates
  • Comfort with physical work, including standing, walking, lifting, and navigating stairs throughout the day
  • A willingness to learn, take direction, and follow detailed checklists with precision

What your day will look like

  • Refreshing and resetting guest rooms to meet five-star standards
  • Changing linens, replenishing amenities, and staging rooms for arrival
  • Cleaning and maintaining common areas, including dining spaces, offices, and washrooms
  • Supporting laundry operations and daily housekeeping workflows
  • Working collaboratively to ensure all rooms and spaces are guest-ready on time
