The ideal applicant will be:
- outgoing and enjoys working with the public
- should work well in a team environment
- is comfortable talking to large groups of people
- has a passion for PEI history and can memorize historic details
Responsibilities:
- Greet our guests in a welcoming manner
- Offer historic details related to the Wood Islands Lighthouse and surrounding area
- Provide personalized tours to individuals and groups
- Perform light house and grounds keeping
These positions require the ability to climb steep stairs and not be fearful of heights and are only open to students who are returning to school in the fall.
Wage: $17.00 + 4% Vacation Pay.
