Landscape Construction Crew Lead

Job Description:

Somerset Gardens Inc. is hiring an experienced Landscape Construction Crew Lead to help run active projects this season.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and helps create a positive, productive crew environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading a small crew of 1–3 people on landscape construction projects
• Executing hardscape installs including pavers, walls, grading, and drainage
• Working on a variety of projects including pools, pergolas, outdoor structures, and outdoor living spaces
• Keeping projects moving efficiently and adapting as challenges come up
• Maintaining clean, organized, professional job sites
• Communicating clearly on progress, materials, issues, and next steps

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in landscape construction and jobsite execution
• Strong work ethic and a positive, team-first attitude
• Someone reliable, organized, and willing to take responsibility
• Ability to keep yourself and others moving without constant direction
• Pride in clean, high-quality work
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Pay: $25–$35/hour based on experience and leadership ability
