Job Description:

Museum Interpreter – Bedeque Area Historical Society Inc., Bedeque Historical Museum

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting visitors to the museum as well as collecting admission fees.
  • Doing guided tours of the 40 exhibits located in our main building which once was a 19th century general store, and the Lower Bedeque Schoolhouse in which the famous author L.M. Montgomery taught for a year.
  • In your quiet time you will be able to carry out original research and design a historical poster and work on our new historical cookbook project for 2026.
  • You will be responsible for keeping databases up to date.
  • We will provide training in computer software, in particular, Past Perfect, Canva and publisher.
