Commercial Tire Technician

Job Description:

OK Tire is seeking a Commercial Tire Technician to join our team.  As a member of our team you will specialize in agricultural tire sales and service. You will directly impact our agricultural customers’ productivity by delivering on-site service to minimize downtime. Job Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining large-scale tires for tractors, combines, and agricultural implements.
• Off Site Service: Traveling to farm locations to provide emergency tire services
• On Site Service: Inspect, repair, rotate and balance tires for commercial trucks and trailers.
• Safety & Inspection:  Inspect tire pressure and tread wear, ensuring compliance with safety standards and handling on high-pressure inflations
• Shop/Truck Maintenance: Maintain equipment and shop

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Some experience with agricultural or commercial tires is required with some practical training and job shadowing provided by our seasoned technicians.
• Safety & inspection of tire pressures and tread wear to ensure compliance with the safety standards and handling of high-pressure inflations.
• Communication is of the utmost importance in this position as all jobs are dispatched from the office to the Commercial Tire Tech.  On-site communication with our customers is just as vital.
• This work is physically demanding requiring heavy lifting (50lbs+) and the ability to work in varied conditions. Key qualifications include strong manual dexterity, meticulous attention to detail, a safety-conscious mindset, and the ability to work independently.
• Schedule: Full-time days and on-call (shared duties as required)

• Hourly Rates:  $18 – $24/per hour depending on experience
