The Role
Our Housekeepers are the behind-the-scenes heroes who make every guest stay sparkle.
Based in Stanley Bridge at The Gables of PEI, this role focuses on keeping our villa suites and homes spotless, welcoming, and guest-ready. If you take pride in creating clean, cozy spaces and love being part of a supportive team, this role is for you!
Please note: Reliable transportation is required, as public transit is not available in Stanley Bridge.
What You’ll Do
You’ll help create five-star stays by:
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and making every villa shine
- Inspecting units to ensure they meet our quality standards
- Restocking supplies and replacing consumables as needed
- Reporting maintenance issues, damages, or concerns to management
- Responding to reasonable guest requests with professionalism and patience
- Assisting with deep cleaning projects
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and reporting any deficiencies
- Working closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Following all health and safety regulations, including PEI Occupational Health & Safety standards and Island Coastal’s Safety Management System
- Identifying safety concerns and helping support solutions
- Pitching in wherever needed because teamwork makes the dream work!
What You Bring
- 1+ year of housekeeping or customer service experience (an asset, but not required!)
- A positive, self-motivated attitude and strong work ethic
- Honesty, reliability, and a team-first mindset
- Knowledge of the Stanley Bridge area (an asset!)
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs and stay active throughout your shift
- Comfort with bending, reaching, twisting, standing, and moving throughout the day
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation to and from work (this is a must!)
