Job Overview:

Killer Dog Kafe is looking for Baristas to join our team! As a Barista, you’ll be responsible for crafting high quality coffee and beverages while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment
  • Maintain consistency in quality and taste
  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently
  • Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations
  • Handle customer concerns or complaints appropriately
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
  • Clean equipment, counters, and seating areas regularly
  • Ensure proper storage of food and supplies
  • Operate POS system and process payments
  • Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately
  • Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages
  • Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service or barista experience preferred (training can be provided)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills
  • Reliable and punctual
