Charlottetown Veterinary Clinic is adding a Registered Veterinary Technician to our amazing small animal team!
We are a busy and progressive seven veterinarian small animal practice with a dedicated team of Registered Veterinary Technicians, assistants, and client service representatives. We pride ourselves on providing very high standards of patient-focused care and personalized client service. We are also very passionate about maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture and do whatever we can to ensure each member of our team has a great work-life balance.
As a Registered Veterinary Technician at our practice, your talent and skills will be fully utilized for:
- Client communication, including pre-surgical check in appointments.
- Drug calculations/planning a pre-anesthetic plan for your surgical patient.
- Pre-medicating, inducing, intubating, and monitoring your surgical patient.
- Blood draws, IV fluid therapy, cystocentesis, radiography, and prophylactic dental care.
- Managing in-hospital patients and assisting veterinarians with out-patient appointments.
