Foreperson

Job Description:

Position Summary
The Foreman / Foreperson leads a crew in the safe and efficient completion of basement and foundation work. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, solid technical skills, and the ability to ensure all work meets company standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Crew Leadership & Jobsite Oversight

• Lead and supervise a crew on daily job tasks
• Assign work and manage job flow to stay on schedule
• Train crew members on proper methods and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
• Communicate with office staff, management, and homeowners
• Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are used and cared for properly

Installation & Technical Work

• Egress window installations, including layout, cutting, excavation, window wells, drainage, and finishing
• Sump pump and sump pit installations, including excavation, basin installation, pump setup, discharge lines, and testing
• Foundation crack repairs using epoxy and polyurethane injections
• Formwork and concrete placement, finishing, and cleanup
• Interior and exterior basement waterproofing systems
• Interior and exterior drain tile systems
• Equipment operation including excavators, skid steers, tractors, etc.

Quality & Customer Service

• Ensure all work meets company standards and local building codes
• Review completed work with customers and answer questions
• Maintain a professional and respectful jobsite presence
• Complete required job photos, reports, and documentation
