Little Explorers is looking to hire an Early Childhood Educator (ECI, ECA, ECE). Applicants must be certified by the Early Learning and Child Care Board or be in the process of obtaining their certification.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you’ll play an essential role in shaping young children’s early experiences. You’ll plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based programs that align with the curriculum outlined in the Early Learning Framework.
In this role, you’ll:
- Create daily experiences that support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
- Observe and document children’s interests and development to inform your programming
- Encourage problem-solving, independence, and cooperation through hands-on learning
- Foster strong, positive relationships with families by communicating openly and supporting their child’s journey
- Collaborate with fellow educators to plan, reflect, and continuously improve our learning environments
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom that reflects the wonder of early learning
Pay & Benefits
- Pay based on PEI’s ECE Grid (level & certification years)
- 40 hrs/week (8-hour shifts)
