Rainbow Early Years Centre is seeking to hire dynamic individuals to add to our team. These individuals could be called on to cover short periods of time or multiple days/weeks at a time. Certification is preferred and experience is an asset. A perfect opportunity for ECE’s students looking for some hands on experience or retired ECEs looking to stay connected to the field!
Duties include and are not limited to:
- Supporting each child’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Implementing program plans in a preschool environment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Providing developmentally appropriate behaviour guidance.
- Being a reliable team player with a positive attitude.
- Having good oral and written communication.
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Comfortable working with children ages 6mos-5 years.
- Capable of building strong relationships with children, parents, and co-workers
- Certified by the PEI Child Care Board as Early Childhood Educator (ECE, previously Level 3), Early Childhood Assistant (Level 2), or Early Childhood Interns (Level 1).
- Will consider uncertified candidates with experience.
- Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check and First Aid/CPR Required
