Role: Resident Care Worker
2 x positions available, 1-year contract (maternity coverage) with possibility of permanent position after
Duties:
- Coordinator of treatment for patients
- Assist in all surgeries (local anesthetic, IV sedations and neurolept anesthetic) if needed
- Monitoring patient’s pre-op, intra-op and post -op, assisting medical team
- Perform post – op check with patients (over phone and/or in person)
- Charting
- Recording patient’s vital signs during recovery
- Intake/review consultation information
Qualifications:
- Post- secondary diploma in Resident Care Worker
- Experience in a medical/surgical setting is preferred
- Experience in medical documentation and maintaining records
- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience
Note: no evenings or weekends
