Rainbow Early Years Centre is looking to hire a Special Needs Assistant / Support Staff.
Duties and requirements include and are not limited to:
- Providing 1:1 support in the classroom.
- Helping maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Providing developmentally appropriate behaviour guidance.
- Being a reliable team player with a positive attitude.
- Having good oral and written communication
- Be comfortable working with children of all ages
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and co-workers
- Be comfortable working with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Will consider uncertified, Early Childhood Intern, Early Childhood Assistant, or Early Childhood Educator for the position.
- Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check, First Aid/CPR Required
Wage: $16.50 – $31.12depending on certification level.
