Little Ducklings Pond Child Care Centre in Stratford is looking to hire a Support Worker. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to support educators in providing a warm, safe, and engaging environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting educators in caring for children throughout the day
- Supervising and engaging with children when educators are completing program planning or documentation
- Helping with day-to-day cleaning tasks to maintain a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment
- Supporting the smooth daily operation of the centre as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children (child care or volunteer experience an asset)
- Positive, caring, and dependable attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions
- Ability to obtain a vulnerable sector check, WHMIS, Standard First Aid/CPR, and Food Safety Certification
Position Details:
- Full-time. Available Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (shift time has not been determined yet)
- Pay is based on Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification; if no certification, wage is minimum wage
