Job Description:
The pedagogical support position will allow the opportunity for early childhood educators to be released from their supervision of children which will allow for time to observe, document and plan for the individual needs of the children in their group and support their implementation of the PEI Early Learning Framework. This will also allow the opportunity for experienced educators within the program to mentor less-experienced staff. Cover breaks. Share in cleaning tasks and daily duties.
Required Skills:
- Early Childhood Educator Certificate or be willing to take ECE courses;
- Emergency First Aid and CPR;
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
Required Experience:
- ECE 1, 2, or 3 Certification or willing to take ECE courses
