Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator

MarineNav Ltd. is currently seeking a Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator.
The Opportunity
Accountable to the Senior Leadership Team, the Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator oversees purchasing, inventory, and shipping to keep operations efficient. The Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator is responsible for placing and tracking purchase orders, sourcing components, and following up with suppliers to avoid delays while maintaining accurate records by reconciling deliveries, handling warranty claims, and updating inventory logs. Keeping stock organized for assemblers and R&D staff, the Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator ensures office supplies are available and conducts regular inventory checks. The role also includes managing shipments to ensure products reach the right customers on time, are correctly packaged, and remain undamaged while maintaining detailed shipping records.
Who You Are
As an ideal candidate, you are an organized and detail-oriented professional with strong procurement, inventory management, and logistics experience. You ensure smooth operations by efficiently sourcing materials, tracking orders, managing stock levels, and overseeing shipping and receiving. With a strong understanding of supply chain operations, vendor management and procurement processes, you have the ability to analyze stock levels and anticipate shortages or overages. You are proactive, self-motivated, solutions-focused, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong supplier and internal team relationships.
Qualifications
- Completion High School or GED.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in purchasing, inventory coordination, and logistics.
- Familiarity with shipping regulations and customs procedures is considered an asset.
