Resident Care Worker (RCW)

Job Description:

Role: Resident Care Worker

Duties:

• Coordinator of treatment for patients
• Assist in all surgeries under (local anesthetic, IV sedations and neurolept anesthetic) if needed
• Take X-rays and CT scans
• Monitoring patient’s pre-op, intra-op and post -op
• Perform post -op check with patients
• Charting
• Sterilization
• Monitoring patient’s vital signs during recovery

Qualifications:

• Post- secondary diploma in Resident Care Worker
• Experience in a medical/surgical  setting is preferred
• Experience in medical documentation and maintaining records
• Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience

Note: no evenings or weekends
