Little Ducklings is looking for an Early Childhood Educator to work at their Stratford location.
Qualifications and experience is an advantage but a genuine passion for working with children is a must!!!
· A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
· Strong understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment through play-based activities.
· Commitment to building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
· Fluency in English and familiarity with French is a bonus.
· Emergency child care first aid, CPR, criminal check/vulnerable sector check are required.
Responsibilities:
· Plan, implement, and supervise age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
· Provide nurturing care and support to meet the individual needs of each child.
· Foster social-emotional and cognitive development, including communication skills, empathy, and self-confidence.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
· Observe and document children’s progress and communicate effectively with families.
· Joint develop curriculum or assist with supervision or reporting.
