Holland College is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented individual for the position of Institutional Planning Analyst. Reporting to the President, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Identify, synthesize, and manage comprehensive research data utilized by Senior Leadership and the Board of Governors.
- Advocate data analytics practices and technology to senior management.
- Develop, administer, analyze, and report on surveys that measure engagement, performance, and satisfaction for both students and employees.
- Advise on the strategic use of institutional data and providing data-driven analysis in support of the College’s institutional priorities.
- Compile data across college departments to ensure the College is meeting its targets in program areas.
- Provide necessary rationale to Senior Leadership to determine organizational effectiveness, planning, accreditation, evaluation, and program assessment activities.
- Monitor and evaluate Holland College performance as it relates to external partnerships, the College’s strategic plan, and key performance indicators.
- Contribute expert advice and input in recommending opportunities to support the development of new programs and initiatives that support the strategic vision.
- Ensure consultation and relationship management with other stakeholders such as: community and advocacy groups, government, agencies, province-wide programs/services, and community organizations.
- Support special projects and initiatives led by other entities of the College (i.e., Programs, LINC, Workforce Innovation, etc) through the development of funding proposals.
- Provide support and training in continuous quality improvement methods and the use/analysis of data related to effective practice of continuous quality improvement.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field coupled with three years’ experience in research related positions is required.
- Excellent understanding of the operation of and trends that exist in post-secondary education.
- Training or course work in research methodologies, data collection, organizational development.
- High degree of innovation required.
- Ability to write and present clear, concise, and accurate reports.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with faculty, senior executives, and external agencies.
- Training Requirement as Internal Auditor, to support Lead Auditor in seasonal audit cycle: ISO 9001:2015 Overview Workshop / ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Workshop.
