Who You Are:

As a member of the Marketing team, the Student Photographer/Videographer will help plan and coordinate the execution of videos of Provincial Credit Union. The Student Videographer/Photographer supports the Marketing & Communications team in the creation of videography and photography aimed at target audiences to grow and educate Provincial Credit Union staff and members. You have a keen eye for aesthetics, composition, design, and strong attention to detail.

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as a production crew on shoots including coordinating shoots, scouting locations, shooting, interviewing subjects, and post-production editing
  • Assist in the development, rollout, and support associated with a particular project
  • Create and manage a production tracking calendar for ongoing projects
  • Creatively utilize different methods for filming and photography.
  • Keep inventory of all video and photography.

What You Have:

Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma
  • Enrolled in post-secondary education or recent graduate with experience or study in communications, content and video creation.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Have experience in photography and video productions (including knowledge of lighting, sound, camera work, editing software, etc.)
  • Possess good logic, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience making educational videos an asset
  • Motivated and able to prioritize work and assignments accordingly
  • Reliable and organized with a love for Editing
  • Proven results in producing short videos on short timelines
  • Open to constructive criticism to ensure work delivered meets PCU standards
  • Excellent Written and verbal communications.
  • Software proficiency
