Who You Are

As an engaged member of the senior management team, the Director of Finance and Corporate
Services oversees financial health, human resources, business analytics, support services and
office management. This role also assumes the office of Secretary of CPKN Network Inc. You
will report to the Vice President Operations, and will provide leadership to 6 staff and work
with them to implement processes and procedures while driving activities that will help
maintain fiscal health.

You will ensure that CPKN continues to innovate, evolve, and deliver high value to the Canadian
and First Nations policing communities by ensuring we are connected and engaged with our
stakeholders (35+ staff, National Advisory Committee, Board of Directors, and 300+ member
organizations (police, government law enforcement, public safety, and first responder agencies
as well as private investigators and security professionals).

As a member of the senior management team, you will be involved in the strategic planning,
implementation and evaluation of all activities related to the success and growth of the
organization and will help drive the company’s strategy and planning.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Business Administration or a related field. Masters level preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in financial management.
• 5 + years of leadership and managerial experience.
• 3 + years experience in strategic business planning.
• Demonstrated experience in human resources, support services and overall
organizational resources management.
• Additional relevant education and experience will be considered an asset.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal activities for the organization.
• Develop and maintain systems and internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the
organization.
• Oversee the management and coordination of HR functions for the organization.
• Oversee support services and office management functions for the organization.
• Contribute and assist in planning of CPKN Board meetings as well as plan and manage the
CPKN Finance Subcommittee.
• Act as the contracting authority for supplier and client contracts, ensuring compliance with
contracting terms.
• Create and oversee a plan for the gathering, review and analysis of internal business and
process data to improve efficiencies and sustainability and help create key organization
wide KPI’s based on metrics.
• Work with staff and management to define financial, human resource, and business
analytics KPI’s that align to the strategic direction of the organization.

This position offers an annual salary between $90,000 – $102,000 and a benefits package. If you feel
