Job Description:
Inclusions East requires a Laser Engraver within Kingswood Centre.
Duties include:
- Understanding the principles of engraving images; creative in product development
- Reading and understanding ‘draw programs’ on desktop
- Maintain professionalism when being assisted by clients; dealing with staff and customers
- Ensuring that projects are implemented/completed according to timelines
- Plan the sequences of operation to achieve optimal precision and tolerances
- Ensuring readiness of raw materials for production; prepare final products for shipping
- Knowledge/use of appropriate tools to keep machines in operation
- Attention to detail; adherence to all standards of quality and safety
- Addressing machine malfunctions in an efficient and expedited manner
- Document activity and machine performance and administer routine checks/maintenance
Requirements:
- Must possess high school diploma or GED
- Asset for Education in graphic applications and or Computer-aided design (AutoCAD)
- Strong abilities to problem solve and conflict resolution.
- Professional communication – verbal, written, listening, two-way feedback
- Knowledgeable in Draw and CAD Programs, Microsoft, Outlook, etc.
- Self-motivated and directed
- Able to work independently or as part of a multi-service team
- Able to demonstrate effective time management
- Knowledge of community and applicable contacts and resources are definite assets
