School Age Educator
Starting Line is looking for a fun, enthusiastic, and organized person to work with the school age program in the afternoon from 2:45-5:30 on weekdays and from 9-5:30 on school closure days.
Position responsibilities included but are not limited to:
Ensuring the supervision and safety of the children in the program
Develop and maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
Meet the health, safety, and well-being needs of all children
Plan and implement quality programming for children based on their interests and needs
Build positive relationships with the children and their families
Be a team player with co-workers
Additional Skills:
Effective interpersonal skills
Flexibility
Excellent oral communication
Dependable, punctual, and reliable
Required Skill
ECE level 1 would be an asset
Must be willing to attain a clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check, food safety, first aid certification, and to apply for a School Age certificate.
Some cleaning is required
Required Experience:
Experience is an asset
Having a positive attitude and a desire to work with children
Having the ability to work independently as needed
