This entry level position will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to explore the Early Learning field, first hand. It will also allow for the candidate to study courses in Early Childhood Education while working, which will lead to an increase in the hourly wage.
The duties will include (but are not limited to) providing quality child care for children in our centre, helping our children during different stages of early years development, changing diapers & helping with washroom visits, assisting our ECEs as needed, and assisting to keep our classrooms (and centre) clean and welcoming.
While education is not required, skills that would certainly be helpful include: patience, adaptability, reliability, the desire to learn, and a positive attitude.
