Cleaner

Job Description:

The Cleaner is to perform light manual housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean, sanitary and aseptic environment.  He/She is to respect confidentiality on matters related to the Lodge.  This position requires a motivated individual who works well with minimal supervision.

Qualifications: Grade Ten education; Previous experience in housekeeping.

Duties: Clean residents’ room, sweep, vacuum, and/or mop floors, dust, bathrooms, remove garbage, clean windows.  Insure additional cleaning is done on a weekly or seasonal basis.  Clean all bathrooms (mirrors, toilets, sinks, floors); Check supplies and replace where needed.  Empty garbage cans throughout facility; Other duties as required.
