Position: Editorial Assistant (NOC 1452)
We are a consulting and online training company serving food manufacturers around the world, with our headquarters located in Montague, PEI.
Have no idea about food safety? No need to worry! For this position, you just need to be open to helping us stay organized, to learning new things and to working in an exciting and fast growing B2B operation.

Our company produces trainings, so a big part of your job will be work with content and technologies. Think: taking content and rewriting for clarity, readability, and for use in trainings, marketing and work with customers. You will work closely with our Subject Matter Expert and Instructional Designer.
The necessary skills are:
- Excellent communicator
- Excellent computer skills
- Proficient in English
- Proficient in technologies
- Familiar with marketing
- Social media managing experience is an asset
- French is an asset
- Editing skills are an asset
- Journalism experience is an asset
- MAC experience is a big asset
- Experience in food safety and/or food manufacturing is an asset
In the position of Editorial Assistant, you will be supporting various team members as they work on projects including but not limited to:
- Assisting with company projects as required (production and marketing)
- Writing and editing a variety of content for trainings, website and social media, such as articles, blogposts, storyboards
- Attending meetings, recording and distributing notes
- Updating documents and files on a regular basis to ensure good record keeping
- Assisting in document and information organization
A few important details before you run out to apply:
- Our office is in Montague and you are expected to work 9-5 Monday-Friday with some flexibility
- Excellent writing skills are very important for this position
- Position is based on qualification of government funding program
