Canadian Police Knowledge Network (CPKN) is one of Canada’s most experienced providers of technology-enhanced learning products and services. Specializing in building national learning models, we work across multiple sectors including police and security. The CPKN team is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Analyst. This position is responsible for timely and effective end-user support related to IT serviced computer operations. This will be accomplished by conducting diagnostic tests, guiding users through to issue resolution, communicating technical solutions in user-friendly language, interfacing with vendors, and conducting end-user training where necessary. This position is based on Prince Edward Island and works 37.50 hours per week, commencing immediately.

What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge around Microsoft Technologies including Server 2016 and 2019, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Exchange online, SharePoint online, and MS Teams. A diploma in Computer Information Systems is preferred, however an equivalent combination of education and work experience could be considered.

What You’ll Do: The IT Infrastructure Support Analyst will be responsible for:

• Managing the on-premises domain and Microsoft 365 environments as they relate to architecture and security.
• Providing 1st contact end user desktop support.
• Setting up accounts and workstations.
• Managing AV and Collaboration Room Technology.
• Liaising with appropriate third-party vendors as it relates to end-user computing technology.
• Ensuring end-user technology is regularly patched and updated.
• Monitoring supporting systems to ensure maximum uptime and availability.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Providing a security clearance to be able to work on certain contracts.
• Providing proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 upon hire, subject to federal human rights law.
