Job Description:

Tyne Valley Playschool is a non-profit Early Learning Center. We are looking for an energetic and reliable member to join our team. We are seeking a cook to work 30-40 hours per week beginning as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

·         Prepare meals for up to 50 children in multiple classrooms

·         Help to develop healthy meal/ snack menus

·         Help keep kitchen inventory

·         Keep a clean and orderly work station

·         Maintain records of menus served

·         Light cleaning around the center

Requirements upon hire:

·         Current criminal record check and vulnerable sector check

·         First Aid and CPR certification

·         Food Safety certificate

·         WHIMS

Salary: $14.50/hour
