Journeyman Carpenter

FitzGerald and Snow (2010) Ltd is leader in the construction industry on PEI and we are looking for the right individual to strengthen our work force with the addition of Journeyman Carpenters or individuals with journeyman carpenter experience. Journeyman Carpenter Responsibilities These positions involve general and finish carpentry skills.  Our team regularly completes several types of carpentry scope of work from foundation forming (ICF and wood forms), steel stud a drywall, wood framing, installation of doors, windows and hardware, and finish work (trims, casework, etc) Journeyman Carpenter Qualifications The successful candidates would have a well rounded skill set of basic carpentry skills.  This position requires an individual that can work within a team environment as well as work independently on small jobs.  Being able to read plans and run a small crew would be a huge asset, but not a necessity.   Having your own transportation would be an asset.  If this sounds like an exciting opportunity, we would like to hear from you. Salary / Compensation Journeyman Carpenter – $35.00 + /hr which includes base salary, vacation pay, benefits, pension and training.  Competitive wages are also available to those that may not have their Red Seal but have good experience and work ethic.
