THE OPPORTUNITY:
STEAM PEI is hiring a Summer Camp Logistics Intern to join our STEAM Team. You’ll play a key role in
ensuring our summer camps across PEI have the supplies and equipment they need each week. Your
responsibilities will include preparing and organizing materials, purchasing consumables with the
company credit card, and delivering these materials to various camp locations.
This full-time role runs from June 23 to August 30, averaging 30 hours per week, with a flexible schedule based on task completion. Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays will be the busiest days.
Compensation: $18-20/hour, plus mileage reimbursement at the current provincial government rate.
Outstanding performance in this role could open doors to future opportunities with STEAM PEI as a
Summer Camp Facilitator or Camp Leader.
Your work will ensure a seamless summer for our staff and students, helping build a bright STEAM future for PEI’s next generation.
THE SKILLS:
This role involves supporting camps in Charlottetown, Summerside, and occasionally in West Prince and Kings County. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential.
Excellent organizational skills, and clear communication.
