In the first quarter of 2023, net migration into Prince Edward Island was 2,110, compared with a net inflow of 1,492 in the same quarter of 2022. Net inter-provincial migration into Prince Edward Island was a gain of 790 in the first quarter of 2023, down from a gain of 808 persons a year earlier. Net international migration was an increase of 1,320 persons in the first quarter of 2023, up from a gain of 684 persons from the same quarter in 2022.
