In the first quarter of 2024, net migration into Prince Edward Island was 949, compared with a net inflow of 1,893 in the same quarter of 2023. Net inter-provincial migration into Prince Edward Island was a loss of 19 in the first quarter of 2024, down from a gain of 713 persons a year earlier. Net international migration was an increase of 968 persons in the first quarter of 2024, down from a gain of 1,180 persons from the same quarter in 2024.
