Job Description:

Location: Summerside / Borden

Benefits for all new employees – (must work a minimum 10 shifts from the date of hire)

·         Training Allowance – $40.00 reimbursement for 2019 TCP certification or renewal

·         Assistance with equipment purchase by the granting of a repayable cash advance of up to $200

All employees can participate in the New Employee Referral Program:

Any ECSS employee who refers a candidate to work as a flagger is eligible to receive a cash bonus of $50.00 per referral. The dated referral indicating the prospective new employee must be received by ECSS administration prior to program end date via email, fax or in writing. The person being referred for employment must be “new” to East Coast Security and complete a success hiring procedure. Furthermore, the referred individual must complete a minimum of 10 scheduled shifts.

Salary: $13.25 / hour – includes vacation pay

Terms of employment: Seasonal, Part time leading to full time
Start date: As soon as possible

Credentials: First Aid Certificate; Traffic Control Person (TCP) Certification

Experience: No experience

Specific Skills: Direct traffic at or near construction sites; Assist heavy equipment operators

Own Safety Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots; Hard hat; Safety glasses/goggles; Safety vest; Gloves; Cellular phone

Work Site Environment: Outdoor

Transportation; Own vehicle; Willing to travel regularly; Valid driver’s licence; Public transportation is not available
