Job Description:
Responsibilities:
-Follow blueprints and building plans and provide general carpentry support;
-Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes;
-Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding;
-Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials;
-Assist with equipment maintenance and monitoring, as required;
-Assist with general construction scopes as required and assigned;
-Construction of site safety access or barriers;
-Moving of materials inside building, as required;
-Assist with various construction activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience working in construction or with carpentry tools;
-Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques, methods of installation and construction and able to read technical documents or drawings;
-Proven experience using safety practices, assessing the worksite and mitigating hazards and being mindful of the surroundings at all times;
-Capable of working at a height and familiar with required safety restraints;
-Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying up to 50lbs without assistance, and working outdoors in all weather conditions;
-Strong work ethic, and team player
